About the Light Troupe
Light Troupe is a collective of artistic and technical talent projecting its visions through interactive brilliance. Software developer Ian McIntosh, Josh Fitzsimmons and designer Pat Coan reach a common ground and lay a foundation for concepts including an audio-visual vocabulary extending to 5-dimensional experiences. Together they explore the possibilities of collaborative emergence, realizing undeniable beauty in it’s creations.
LightTroupe’s mission is to empower the participants at any event by giving them direct control over the light and sound experience. Through the application of art, design and science, Light Troupe has created a variety of open source tools to encourage the philosophy that every person is an artist.
Having performed and collaborated with international musicians and artists, the Troupe continues to find an inspiring and new experiences through the combination of visual, audio, interactive and social sensations. We invite the community to join us in developing this new art form.
